Jan 22, 2008: Douglas C. Schmidt�(Vanderbilt University) and Alexander Wolf�(Imperial College London) will deliver two keynotes at DEBS 2008. Topic and abstract of both keynotes will be soon announced.

Jan 16, 2008: Jacques Bus �(Head of Unit, European Commission, DG Information Society and Media "ICT for Trust and Security") will deliver a talk at DEBS on the EU workprogramme 09-10 and the role of event-based infrastructures �and complex event processing.

Jan 15, 2008: A panel on �security issues for event-based �infrastructures seen from the European Technology Platforms perspectives has been scheduled at DEBS 2008. Organizers: Thomas Skordas (EU Commission), Ajiosa Pasic (AthosOrigin), Reijo Savola (VTT) and James Clark (WIT).
