Mar 4, 2008: The deadline for paper submission has been extended to March 22nd (firm deadline!).

Feb 14, 2008: The deadline for tutorial submissions has been extended to February 22nd.

Feb 12, 2008: Paper submissions are open! Instructions on proper document formatting and the link to the submission site can be found following this link.

Jan 22, 2008: Douglas C. Schmidt (Vanderbilt University) and Alexander Wolf (Imperial College London) will deliver two keynotes at DEBS 2008. Topic and abstract of both keynotes will be soon announced.

Jan 16, 2008: Jacques Bus  (Head of Unit, European Commission, DG Information Society and Media "ICT for Trust and Security") will deliver a talk at DEBS on the EU workprogramme 09-10 and the role of event-based infrastructures  and complex event processing.

Jan 15, 2008: A panel on  security issues for event-based  infrastructures seen from the European Technology Platforms perspectives has been scheduled at DEBS 2008. Organizers: Thomas Skordas (EU Commission), Ajiosa Pasic (AthosOrigin), Reijo Savola (VTT) and James Clark (WIT).
